Sara came up from San Diego for her photo session. We decided to shoot in and around the Marriott Hotel in Burbank. The area around it was under some reconstruction which provided some interesting backgrounds.
Sara was great! I loved how she could give a beaming smile one moment and a drop dead serious look the next. We got plenty of different looks for her choose. Here are a few of my favorites…
My wonderful wife is on the Board of Directors of the Nan Tolbert Nuturing Center here in Ojai. It’s a great organization whose mission is to the: “nurture of children pre-birth to three, through inspiring partnerships and community resources that address pre and post-natal wellbeing, infant/ toddler development, and parent education and support.”
My wife thought it might be a good idea that everyone have their photos on the center’s website so that people visiting can see the faces of those dedicated to this organizations success. I thought it was a great idea and immediately offered my services!
They had a board meeting at the Monica Ros School, a beautiful setting, so we took their headshots in the morning, right before the meeting started when the light was still good. I hope they didn’t have flashbacks to having their dreaded school portraits with those really ugly fake backgrounds. I think these pictures turned out really nice.
