Ojai Portrait Photography: Matt Haag

My friend, Matt Haag, needed a headshot for his new business website, Music Audits.  Matt’s love of music translated in to an extensive career in the music industry, including running his own record label to overseeing domestic and international sales at a publishing company representing clients such as Aretha Franklin and B.B. King.

Los Angeles Portrait Photography: Angela’s Headshots

Angela needed new headshots for her theatrical portfolio, but she wanted them to be more relaxed and less glam than her previous photos.   I met her at her loverly house in Studio City in the late afternoon.  The light was very soft and nice for her relaxed portrait session.  Here are a couple of my favorites.

Angela Wolcott - Kevin, They are wonderful! I am very happy, and feel very fortunate to have had you take my photos! Thank you! I am excited to see a couple of them printed.

Pasadena Portrait Photography: Thad Scroggins

When I first toyed with the idea of becoming of professional last year, Thad was great to volunteer and be one of my first subjects.  I wanted to play with a variety of different backgrounds and color.  We drove to Pasadena and found so cool locations to shoot.  Here are a few from last summer before I discovered the wonderful world of blogging.  It’s weird to see how my style has evolved in just a few short months.

Mark Hayes - Isn’t it awesome to have friends willing to do work in front of the camera? Don’t know how far I’d have ever made it if it wasn’t for a few friends that just loved getting their pictures taken and giving me such great experience.

Frank Myers - Great job on these. You made excellent use of the surroundings without drawing attention away from the subject. Keep up the great work.
