The drive down to San Juan Capistrano reminded me of why I loathe driving in Southern California, but it was definitely worth it. About 50 photographers got together as part of The Facebook Photog Shootout Group to learn, meet, eat and just have a great time doing what we all love. We had Jasmine Star and Michael & Anna Costa as special guest speakers and teachers for the day. We divided into different groups to learn about a specific technique or style of photography. And for almost 3 hours we got to shoot some fabulous models and couples around the metrolink station in front of Sarducci’s. It was great to hang out with some fellow photographers I haven’t seen in awhile and meet some new friends from FB. Can’t wait for the next one!
Here’s Jasmine Star inspiring her audience. Her energy was so infectious!
One can’t be camera shy with all of these cameras firing away.
Troy and Aimee were adorable together.
Love the bokeh on these.
A small little army…
I just love this shot of Amber… her dress, her expression, the light, and the lines of her arms and legs.
Hey, Matt! I think your “shutter” is open.
After dinner, we got to do some night photography. I love the mood of this one.
My last shot of the night so I definitely wanted something dramatic. Just one stop brighter so I could lower the ISO to 6400 and I think the grain would have been perfect.
