Brandy and her fiance’ have not set a date yet for their wedding, but she wanted a nice bridal session in case this economic recession forces them to delay their wedding further. Things are certainly tough for everyone and brides definitely want to find the right balance between having the wedding of the dreams and not commit financial suicide in the process.
I met her at the All Saints Church in Pasadena for a late afternoon session. It’s an absolutely beautiful church to have a wedding. I love the details from the thick wooden doors to the beautiful old fashioned stonework. Across the street at City Hall, I saw another photographer shooting an engagement session. I’m glad we had enough time to get some shots over there because the architecture too was very nice. Brandy was a great, entrusting me with my creative vision. I just love doing bridals because there’s no time pressure like a wedding and it’s just a great opportunity to have the focus be solely on making the bride feel like a queen.
